Dr. Attri is a Florida licensed optometrist that joined the Eye Clinic of Florida and See Better Optical in July 2015.
Dr. Attri was born in India but grew up in West Palm Beach, Florida. She completed her bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from University of Florida.
She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University. During her education there, she was able to rotate through specific specialties such as contact lens, pediatrics, diabetes and macular edema, as well as primary care. Her internships include Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Palm Beach Gardens and the VA at Salisbury, North Carolina. Both internships focused on ocular disease.
Dr. Attri enjoys practicing the full scope of optometry and she has a keen interest in contact lenses. Some of her specialty contact interests include scleral lenses that treat keratoconus and complicated post-surgical corneas. Alongside Dr. Ahad Mahootchi, she also manages pre- and post-operative cataract surgeries as well as diseases such as glaucoma, dry eye, macular degeneration, and allergies.
She loves both the challenge and variety of medical eye exams and the simplicity of routine exams with glasses and contacts. She looks forward to serving patients with the utmost of care.
